Quinte Immigration Services to hold AGM on Wednesday

  • October 29, 2019 at 12:33 pm

By Max Reid

BELLEVILLE – Quinte Immigration Services will be holding their annual general meeting on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m..

Executive director Orlando Ferro says that the meeting will set goals for the non-profit organization going forward and review funding for the last fiscal year.

This past May, the service had to manage a backlog of international students seeking work permits with only two settlement workers available to help. How Quinte Immigration plans to deal with the busy graduation season this year will be part of what’s discussed on Wednesday evening.

The meeting will take place in the third floor meeting room of the Belleville public library.
